Police, citizens host 'Eid Dinner' for inter-provincial students

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) The District Police and local citizens on Monday hosted a prestigious "Eid Dinner" for students from Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan to promote inter-provincial harmony and national integration.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Imran Abbas Chadhar, the chief guest of the ceremony, welcomed hundreds of students residing in Sargodha for educational purposes, sharing the joys of Eid with those living away from their native towns.

Addressing the participants, SP Imran Abbas Chadhar stated that Sargodha was a second home for these students and assured them that the local police and residents stood as their protectors and brothers.

He remarked that the gathering represented a unified Pakistan where the cultural richness of Balochistan, the hospitality of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the scenic beauty of Gilgit-Baltistan formed a beautiful bouquet of national unity.

Participating students praised the generous initiative of the Sargodha Police and the local community, noting that such events during festive occasions were a blessing that increased their respect for the people of Punjab. They expressed that they would return to their respective provinces carrying a message of love and solidarity alongside their educational achievements.

The ceremony concluded with a traditional and grand dinner organized in honor of the visiting students.
