Police ensures foolproof security on 2nd day of Eid-ul-Fitr:

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2026) Following the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Mohammad Sohaib Ashraf, the Sargodha police on Sunday implemented stringent security measures across parks, recreational spots, and public highways on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr.

A police spokesperson told APP that plainclothes personnel and lady police officers have been deployed at various locations to monitor elements involved in harassing women and children.

The DPO issued categorical instructions to the force, emphasizing that no negligence in the performance of duties would be tolerated during the festivities.

Furthermore, the district police officer Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf appealed to the citizens to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies to maintain peace and order, urging them to report any suspicious activity through the 'Pukar 15' emergency helpline.
