Police nab seven suspects involved in double murder in Dhamyal

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) Police have made significant progress following arrest of seven suspects allegedly involved in double murder case in the jurisdiction of Police Station Dhamyal, police said on Tuesday.

Following the incident, City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani has taken notice of the incident and directed police teams to ensure the arrest of all those involved in the double murder.

According to police, six suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of Zain Shah, who was allegedly subjected to brutal torture before being killed.

In a separate development, one suspect involved in the murder of Siraj has also been arrested and sent to jail for an identification parade.

Investigators said the arrested suspect, along with his accomplices, allegedly shot Siraj dead before going into hiding. All seven suspects had reportedly absconded after the incident.

Dhamyal Police traced and apprehended the accused with the assistance of technical and human intelligence resources. The raids are currently underway to arrest the other suspects and facilitators involved in the case.

Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to provide justice without discrimination and bringing all individuals involved in the double murder case to accountable.
