Police recover four bullet-riddled bodies from ambulance

BANNU, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jun, 2026) Police on Friday recovered the bullet-riddled bodies of four men from an ambulance found on Circular Road and launched an investigation into the incident.

According to police, the middle-aged victims were killed after unidentified assailants opened fire on the ambulance on Thursday night.

Police rushed to the scene after receiving information about the bodies, cordoned off the area, and began collecting forensic evidence.

The bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Police have registered a case against unidentified attackers and initiated an investigation. The motive behind the attack has yet to be ascertained, and further investigation is in progress.

While condemning firing on ambulances, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi sought report and directed police high ups for arrest of the accused.
