Police recover stolen medicines, six workers arrested

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2026) Pindi police have cracked a case of medicine theft from a hospital medical store that occurred 10 days ago, and arrested six hospital workers involved in the crime.

Police recovered a large quantity of medicines and injections worth several lakhs, Rs. 1.

7 lakh obtained from the sale of injections, and the motorcycle used in the theft. The accused, including five hospital workers and an accomplice, had carried out the theft together.

The operation was conducted using technical and human intelligence sources. SP Potohar Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan said the accused would be presented in court with solid evidence.
