Police seize heavy consignment of banned salt

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) Police, in an effective action, recovered a heavy consignment of banned Chinese salt and an accused. On the directives of SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar, the Market Police achieved significant success and recovered a heavy quantity of banned Ajino Moto.

SHO Market Inspector Munir Ahmed Abbasi, along with his team, conducted a successful operation near Miran school on a tip-off and recovered 30 pieces of banned Ajino Motu.

During the police operation, the accused involved in the supply, Adnan alias Arsalan Shakarzai Pathan, was arrested, while his accomplice, Moiz Pathan, managed to escape from the spot.

The police took the seized salt into their custody and registered a case against the arrested and absconder under relevant law. Further investigation was underway by the police, while various steps have been taken to arrest the absconding accused.
