PPP KP Women Wing pays tributes to Shaheed Bhutto’s service

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Apr, 2026) PPP Women Wing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized a function here at Peshawar Press Club (PPC) on Saturday to observe the 47th death anniversary of the founding chairman of the party Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

Provincial president PPP Women Wing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Senator Rubina Khalid was chief guest while party’s women MPAs, office bearers and workers attended the function at large.

Addressing the participants of the gathering Senator Rubina Khalid paid tributes to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto for his service for the country and people. She said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto during his premiership gave a unanimous constitution to the country and took numerous initiatives for the welfare of the people.

Senator Rubina Khalid, who is the chairperson of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto initiated nuclear programme and made national defence impregnable.

Similarly, she said that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto has further strengthened the national security by strengthening the missile technology.

She said that the PPP workers will remain in forefront of the struggle for national development and will leave no stone unturned in this regard. She urged the women workers to work devotedly for the accomplishment of the mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and making efforts for electing Bilawal Bhutto as next prime minister of Pakistan

Others, who addressed on the occasion were included PPP Women MPAs Shazia Tehmas, Ashbar Jadoon, Mehrunisa Khattak and party office bearers Shehnaz Shamsher, Musarrat Qazi and others.
