PPP Secretary General expresses sorrow over death of Abdul Rahim

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2026) Secretary General of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Muhammad Humayun Khan has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the party’s founding member from Peshawar City, Lala Abdul Rahim.

In his condolence message, Humayun Khan paid tribute to the late leader’s lifelong dedication to the party, saying that his services would always be remembered.

He said that Lala Abdul Rahim was a sincere, ideological and committed “Jiyala,” whose loyalty and struggle for the party would remain a guiding light for workers.

Humayun Khan said the late Rahim played a significant role in strengthening the party in Peshawar City and upheld the party flag even during difficult times.

He extended heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family, praying that Allah Almighty grants the departed soul eternal peace and gives strength and patience to the family to bear the loss.

Humayun Khan said that the leadership and workers of the Pakistan Peoples Party stand in solidarity with the grieving family in this difficult time.
