PRA collects Rs 250b in three quarters of current FY

Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has collected over Rs. 250 billion during nine months (first three quarters) of current fiscal year 2025–26, reflecting a significant increase of Rs. 70 billion when compared with Rs 181 billion collected during corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2024–25

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has collected over Rs. 250 billion during nine months (first three quarters) of current fiscal year 2025–26, reflecting a significant increase of Rs. 70 billion when compared with Rs 181 billion collected during corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2024–25.

PRA spokesperson told media here Friday that the authority recorded a 33 percent growth rate in March of the current fiscal year compared to March last year.

The Authority collected over Rs. 30 billion in March 2025–26, as against Rs. 22.4 billion collected in March of the previous fiscal year, he added.

The PRA Chairman Moazzam Iqbal Sipra has further energized and mobilized the teams to ensure the achievement of revenue targets for the current fiscal year.

The spokesperson highlighted that activation of Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU) in Punjab has started yielding positive results, contributing to improved revenue performance.
