President arrives in China

Changsha, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in Changsha, China, on Saturday night.

He was warmly welcomed by the Vice Chairman of Hunan Provincial People’s Congress, Hu Xusheng.

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong and Pakistani Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi were also present on the occasion.

President Zardari will meet with the provincial leadership during his stay in Changsha.

He will also visit the birthplace and former residence of Chairman Mao Zedong in Shaoshan, Hunan Province.

During the President’s visit, agreements and a memorandum of understanding will also be signed between the Sindh government and Chinese companies.

President Zardari’s visit to China will further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries in economic cooperation, trade, and CPEC.
