President expresses sorrow over forest fires in France, Spain

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jul, 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari Monday expressed deep sorrow over forest fires in France and Spain.

In a statement, he expressed sorrow over the loss of precious lives and widespread destruction caused by the fire.

The President extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the affected families.

He said, "Pakistan expresses solidarity with the governments and people of France and Spain. I pay tribute to the firefighters and relief workers."

"Climate change is a common challenge for all of humanity. Pakistan is also among the countries severely affected by the devastating effects of climate change. Global solidarity and collective efforts are indispensable to address common challenges," he added.
