President Zardari felicitates President of Myanmar on assumption of office

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday extended felicitations to President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, on his election to the office, expressing confidence in the continued growth of bilateral relations between the two countries.

In his letter, the President conveyed warm greetings on the assumption of office by President Min Aung Hlaing.

Highlighting the cordial relations between Pakistan and Myanmar, the President noted that the two countries are bound by shared historical and civilisational ties.

He expressed the confidence that, under President Min Aung Hlaing’s leadership, bilateral cooperation would continue to expand, creating new opportunities for mutually beneficial partnership in areas of common interest.
