President Zardari felicitates President of Vietnam, underscores intent to deepen bilateral cooperation

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday extended warm congratulations to President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, To Lam, on his election, noting that the unanimous vote of the National Assembly reflects the trust and confidence reposed in his leadership.

In his letter, the President expressed confidence that, under President To Lam’s stewardship, Viet Nam would continue to achieve greater progress and prosperity.

Referring to Pakistan–Viet Nam relations, the President said that the two countries enjoy cordial and friendly ties based on mutual trust and goodwill.

He conveyed his desire to work closely with President To Lam to further strengthen bilateral relations and advance shared goals of peace, stability and prosperity, while enhancing cooperation for the mutual benefit of the two peoples.
