Presidential Court announces four-day mourning period, lowering of flags in UAE following passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani

ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 12th Jul, 2026) The UAE Presidential Court announces a period of mourning following the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the father of the Emir of Qatar.

Flags will be flown at half-mast at all official government institutions within the State, as well as at its embassies and diplomatic missions abroad, for four days, beginning Sunday, 12 July, and ending at the close of Wednesday, 15 July.
