Prime focus stands on ameliorating living conditions of common man in AJK: Rathore

MIRPUR (AJK) , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point news - 28th Mar, 2026) Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister (PM) Faisal Mumtaz Rathore Saturday reaffirmed his government's endeavours to continue people’s friendly policies with prime focus to ameliorate the living conditions of common man in the state.

According to APP correspondent, both the leaders discussed prevailing overall political situation of Azad Jammu Kashmir besides other matters of mutual interest.

Speaking on the occasion the PM said that differences of opinion were an essential part of democracy but decency. Hesaid that political tolerance and mutual respect were a dominant feature of politics in AJK.

He patience and mutual respect were equally important for moving forward with consensus.?

"Prioritizing national and public interests, along with promoting positive political traditions, is vital for strengthening democracy and public welfare", he added.?

Khawaja Farooq Ahmed congratulated the Prime Minister on performing Umrah and expressed his good wishes.? AJK Minister for Forests Sardar Javed Ayub was also present on the occasion, the official sources said.
