Prison official Killed in accident

MUZAFFARGARH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2026) A prison official lost his life in an accident after being hit by a trailer on his way to duty.

According to jail sources, the deceased, identified as Altaf of Jampur, was traveling to Muzaffargarh

to perform his official duties when the accident occurred.

He was fatally struck by a speeding trailer en route, resulting in his death on the spot.

Rescue teams shifted the body to a nearby hospital, while police have initiated legal proceedings.
