The facility has emerged as a central hub for providing fresh and hygienic meals, maintaining strict international standards of cleanliness. The kitchen environment adheres to rigorous health protocols, where all staff members are required to wear protective gear, including gloves and masks, during the food preparation process.
To ensure the "taste of home," all essential spices, lentils and rice have been specially imported from Pakistan. "Our top priority is to provide pilgrims with the authentic flavors of their homeland," the Kitchen Coordinator stated, adding that there was no compromise on the quality and taste of the ingredients.
The daily menu features a variety of traditional dishes, including mixed vegetables and Mutton Achari, prepared using fresh meat and vegetables delivered to the facility every morning.
To cater to the massive scale of the operation, a team of expert chefs and hundreds of workers operate in 24-hour shifts. In addition to main meals, special arrangements have been made for the large-scale preparation of tea to accommodate the pilgrims' preferences.
The facility is equipped with extensive storage for dry rations and a state-of-the-art freezing plant for perishables. Temperature levels are constantly monitored to ensure that all food items remain fresh and meet health safety standards.
The provision of quality catering has provided a sense of satisfaction among the pilgrims and their families back home, reflecting the commitment to their health and well-being during their stay in the Holy City.
