Proclaimed murder suspect arrested in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) The district police have arrested a proclaimed offender wanted in a murder case and recovered the alleged weapon used in the crime during a targeted operation against absconding suspects in the limits of Daraban Police station.

According to police spokesman, a team of Daraban Police station led by DSP Daraban Circle Muhammad Aslam Baloch along with SHO Ismail Khan arrested suspect, identified as Allah Nawaz, son of Ibrahim and a resident of Gundi Ashiq. The suspect had been absconding for a long period after being declared a proclaimed offender in a murder case.

During the operation, the police also recovered a 30-bore repeater rifle along with four cartridges and a 30-bore pistol with a fitted magazine, believed to be linked to the case. The further investigation from the arrested accused is underway.

DSP Muhammad Aslam Baloch said the police operations against criminals and proclaimed offenders would be continued without any discrimination to ensure law and order in the area.
