Prof. Dr. Latif Gondal takes charge as VC of Agricultural University DIKhan

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Apr, 2026) According to a notification issued by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Prof. Dr. Latif Gondal has assumed charge as Vice Chancellor of the Agricultural University Dera Ismail Khan.

The notification confirmed that his appointment has been formally implemented, after which he took over his official responsibilities.

He has been appointed in place of Prof. Dr. Shakeeb Ullah, under whose tenure the university witnessed notable progress in academic, research, and administrative domains, improving the institution’s overall performance, according to the Public Relations Officer of the University.

The university administration and faculty have welcomed Prof. Dr. Latif Gondal and extended their best wishes. It is expected that the new leadership will further advance the institution’s development, focusing on enhancing academic standards, promoting research, and strengthening institutional stability.
