Professor Zafar Nawaz assigned acting V.C charge of QAU

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Apr, 2026) Prof. Dr Zafar Nawaz Jaspal was assigned the acting charge of Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) for the period of 3 months or till the appointment of regular incumbent, which ever is earlier.

According to the notification issued on Apr 6, "In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 12 of the Quaid-i-Azam University Act, 1973, the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan / Chancellor, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad, is pleased to assign the acting charge of the post of Vice-Chancellor, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, to Prof.

Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal for a period of three (03) months or till the appointment of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier, with immediate effect and until further orders."
