SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) A high-level meeting chaired by Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali was held at the Commissioner Office in Sargodha to review progress on public welfare, agriculture, revenue and land management projects across the division,here on Friday.
During the meeting,Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry was praised for his administrative performance and implementation of public initiatives.
Officials reviewed progress on the “Apna Khet Apna Rozgar” scheme, Revenue Court Management System, Green Property Certificate and Punjab Urban Land System Enhancement Project (PULSE).
Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali directed all departments concerned to ensure transparency, merit and timely completion of government projects to improve public service delivery.
Speaking on the “Apna Khet Apna Rozgar” scheme, he said the Punjab government was taking practical measures for farmers’ welfare and agricultural development, adding that the initiative would help small farmers gain access to modern agricultural facilities and improve their economic conditions.
He instructed officers to maintain transparency in all stages of implementation and ensure that benefits reached deserving farmers without delay.
The meeting also reviewed pending cases under the Revenue Court Management System, the pace of case disposal and issues faced by litigants.
The commissioner directed officials to adopt an effective strategy for early disposal of cases to ensure timely provision of justice.
He said reforms in the revenue system remained among the government’s priorities and added that modern technology was being used to enhance transparency and efficiency.
Officials also briefed participants on the Green Property Certificate and PULSE projects.
Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali said modern land record management, environment-friendly measures and improved civic facilities were essential for future development.
He directed departments to ensure timely completion of projects through effective coordination among institutions.
The commissioner said all available resources were being utilized in line with Punjab government directives to promote transparency, institutional reforms and modern governance.
He also congratulated Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry on his performance and directed officials of other districts to follow his example.
The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner Coordination Ashfaq-ur-Rehman, Additional Commissioner Revenue Saifullah Sajid, deputy commissioners of all four districts and heads of relevant departments.
