Progress Review Meeting of DEPD–NDF Rehabilitation Centre, Hyderabad held

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2026) A Progress Review Meeting of the DEPD–NDF Rehabilitation Centre, Qasimabad Hyderabad was held to assess ongoing services, review achievements, and plan future strategies for strengthening rehabilitation support for children with disabilities.

The meeting was attended by the management team of National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan, therapists, and rehabilitation staff.

During the session, detailed discussions were held on improving the quality and outreach of services including physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychotherapy, and remedial support being provided at the center.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Abid Lashari, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, President NDF Pakistan, emphasized the importance of continuous monitoring, innovation, and collaboration to ensure effective service delivery.

He stated, “Our rehabilitation centres are not just service delivery points, but platforms of hope, dignity, and inclusion. We are committed to expanding our reach and ensuring that no child is left behind.”

The meeting also reviewed progress updates, success stories of children benefiting from rehabilitation services, and explored strategies to further enhance accessibility and community outreach.

The DEPD–NDF Rehabilitation Centre continues to provide free and accessible rehabilitation services in collaboration with the Government of Sindh, contributing towards the empowerment and inclusion of children with disabilities across the region.
