FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Nadeem Nasir has said that providing a clean and healthy environment to

people is the top priority of the district administration.

Chairing a meeting here Wednesday, he said that timely clearance of waste from collection points

is being ensured through an effective dumping system.

He said that it has been decided to further accelerate the zero waste operation under the “Suthra Punjab” vision of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

The deputy commissioner issued instructions to eliminate the piles of garbage in the city and improve the overall cleanliness situation.

He ordered the immediate removal of garbage collected in all union councils and the speeding up of the cleanliness operation.
