Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin reviews Easter security at Churches

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Apr, 2026) Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin on Sunday reviewed security arrangements for Easter, visiting Catholic Church Anarkali, Cathedral Church on Mall Road, and other key locations. DIG Operations Lahore Faisal Kamran accompanied him during the visits.

During the inspection, Minister Bilal Yasin said that a heavy police presence has been deployed at churches and other places of worship, with security agencies across the province on high alert. He added that walk-through gates have been installed for secure entry, and a special traffic plan is being implemented to ensure smooth movement around these areas.

The bishops, priests, and members of the Christian community expressed their gratitude to Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin for the excellent arrangements made by the Punjab government.
