Provision of facilities to passengers inspected

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia, along with Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Syed Hassan Raza, paid a

detailed visit to the wagon stand and the general bus stand to inspect provision of facilities to passengers.

The Commissioner conducted a special inspection of the shaded shelters installed for buses and passengers and directed that, considering the heat, the condition of these sheds should be improved to provide maximum comfort to travelers. He also reviewed the entrance of the general bus stand and issued instructions to install tough tiles there so that movement becomes easier and the entrance appears more attractive and spacious.

While reviewing the overall condition of the general bus stand, Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia emphasized that cleanliness arrangements must be ensured at all costs. He directed the concerned officials to make the sanitation system more effective at bus stands and to provide passengers with a clean and better environment.
