PSGMEA promotes sustainability in sports goods sector

Masood has said the PSGMEA in collaboration with the German Importers Association organized

an award ceremony under the “Green Pakistan Project” to celebrate the successful completion of

sustainability reports by PSGMEA member factories.

Talking to APP, Mohsin Masood said that the event recognized efforts towards sustainability and environmental responsibility within the sports goods manufacturing sector.

He said that the ceremony marked the completion and formal approval of sustainability reports for PSGMEA member factories.

He said Managing Director (MD) German Importers Association Micheal Arretz presented shields to the 13 factory owners as tokens of recognition for their sustainability reports.

Mr Masood said that the sustainability reports were reviewed and approved by the German Importers Association and SEQUA after multiple rounds of feedback.

He said that the event featured participation from the Fruit of Sustainability team and local representatives of the German Importers Association. Sarim played a key coordinating role with PSGMEA throughout the sustainability reporting process.

At the conclusion, Managing Director German Importers Association Micheal Arretz presented a shield to Secretary General PSGMEA Mohsin Masood, in recognition of his role as a qualified sustainability reporting practitioner.
