LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2026) The Punjab University (PU) has awarded PhD degrees to 10 scholars in various academic disciplines, marking another milestone in advanced research output across science, technology, and social sciences.
According to a spokesperson, the degrees were conferred upon researchers in Applied Geology (Engineering Geology), Botany, Computer Science, business Administration, Mathematics, Applied Psychology, International Relations, History, and Microbiology & Molecular Genetics.
Among the recipients, Muhammad Usman Saleem received a PhD in Applied Geology (Engineering Geology), while Ayesha Javeed was awarded a doctorate in Botany.
In Computer Science, Rashid Rasheed and Tayyaba Tariq successfully completed their doctoral research.
In the field of Business Administration, Kanza Iqbal was awarded a PhD, whereas Abrar Ahmad received a doctorate in Mathematics. Kanza Faisal was awarded a PhD in Applied Psychology, and Zeba Shehzad completed her doctoral degree in International Relations.
In addition, Li Xiaohui was awarded a PhD in History, while Farhad Ali Shah completed his doctorate in Microbiology & Molecular Genetics.
