PU confers PhD degrees on six scholars

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) University of the Punjab (PU) has awarded PhD degrees to six scholars in various disciplines after approval of their thesis.

According to a spokesperson, the scholars include Muhammad Shakeel son of Muhammad Saddique in Statistics, Shabbir Hussain son of Ali Muhammad in Sociology, Muhammad Ashfaque Siddiqi son of Muhammad Ishaque Siddiqi in Punjabi, Zuba Saeed daughter of Ashraf Saeed Malik in Art & Design (Studio Practice), Umair Ali son of Lal Akhtar in Commerce, and Shoeb Iqbal Syed son of Iqbal Hussain Shah in Administrative Sciences (Management).
