LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique has taken strict notice of an incident involving doctors making a video at Lady Wellington Hospital in Lahore.

On the instructions of Health Secretary Azmat Mahmood, a special committee has been formed to investigate the matter.

In a statement issued on Friday, the minister said that the video in question is an old one and assured that strict departmental action will be taken against those found responsible. He emphasized that there will be zero tolerance for such moral and criminal negligence.

Punjab Health Secretary Azmat Mahmood also stated that the use of mobile phones during the treatment of patients in hospitals is strictly prohibited and any violation will lead to disciplinary action.
