SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) Muhammad Manshaullah Butt, Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Resources Punjab, visited the Social Security Hospital Sialkot to review ongoing development work.
During the visit, the minister directed authorities to complete the hospital’s revamping and improvement project by May 15, emphasizing that no compromise would be made on the quality or pace of work. He was accompanied by Commissioner Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) Zulfiqar Ali Kharl, Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Chaudhry Faisal Ikram and labor representatives.
The minister highlighted that the revamping project would significantly enhance the hospital’s capacity, increasing the number of beds from 50 to 100.
He further stated that the Rs. 141 million upgrade plan includes the establishment of a state-of-the-art emergency ward, along with the upgradation of operation theatres and hospital wards.
During the visit, the provincial minister toured various sections of the hospital and interacted with patients and their attendants to inquire about the available healthcare facilities.
Labor leaders appreciated the government’s initiative, praising the minister for the hospital’s revamping and the planned increase in capacity, terming it a positive step towards improved healthcare services for workers.
