Punjab livestock cards recovery reaches 50% in Rawalpindi

The recovery drive of Punjab Livestock Cards has reached around 50 percent in Rawalpindi district, for which authorities have set April 16 as the deadline

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) The recovery drive of Punjab Livestock Cards has reached around 50 percent in Rawalpindi district, for which authorities have set April 16 as the deadline.

The progress was reviewed during an online meeting chaired by Director Livestock Rawalpindi Division Dr. Naveed Sahar, attended by relevant officers from across the division.

Additional Director Livestock Dr Arshad Latif briefed that field staff were taking steps to meet the recovery target within the stipulated timeline.

Dr. Naveed Sahar directed officers to accelerate the recovery process in line with government policy, warning that negligence would not be tolerated.

He stressed that all available resources should be utilized to ensure timely completion, terming effective implementation of government initiatives a top priority.

Officials reaffirmed to ensure success of the campaign through coordinated efforts and improved communication among departments.
