Punjab Ombudsman secures Rs105 million for 72 citizens in pending dues

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) The Office of the Ombudsman Punjab has achieved another significant milestone in providing relief to citizens by facilitating the payment of more than Rs105 million in pending dues to 72 individuals from across the province.

According to the spokesman, the affected citizens had approached the Ombudsman Punjab after facing prolonged delays in receiving payments owed to them by various government departments.

Taking prompt notice of their complaints, the Ombudsman Punjab initiated immediate action and issued necessary directions to the authorities concerned.

As a result of the institution’s timely and effective intervention, the outstanding dues amounting to over Rs105 million were released, providing much-needed financial relief to the complainants.
