QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) has made various arrangements for uninterrupted power supply during the holy month of Ramadan.
On special directive of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) QESCO Engineer Yousuf Shah Khan, a Regional Control Room has been established at the Power Distribution Center (PDC) at QESCO Headquarters under the supervision of the General Managers and Chief Engineer of QESCO so that the continuity and status of power supply during Sehari, Iftar and Taraweeh hours in the holy month of Ramadan could be monitored.
During the month of Ramadan, there would be no load shedding of electricity in the provincial capital Quetta city during Sehari, Iftar and Taraweeh times, while all district headquarters outside Quetta city would also be provided uninterrupted power during Sehari, Iftar and Taraweeh hours.
However, all rural feeders in the province would be provided electricity at different working hours as per their old schedule.
In addition, special teams have been formed at the division and sub-division levels under the supervision of Superintending Engineers in all operation circles to address consumer complaints so that technical malfunctions of electricity, timely replacement of transformers and individual complaints of consumers are also redressed as soon as possible in the shortest possible time.
Consumers could directly call 118 for power outages or individual complaints or register complaints through SMS by writing the electricity bill reference number to 8118 from their mobile. In addition, complaints would be filed at the Central Complaint Cell of QESCO (telephone number 0819201445) or the numbers of its respective subdivisions.
For the convenience of consumers, they could also register complaints and get immediate redressal through WhatsApp mobile number 03198088439 by attaching a copy of the electricity bill and writing their mobile number so that the relevant location of the consumer could be accurately identified and QESCO staff would reach the relevant location immediately and take steps to restore electricity.
