Quetta Met office forecast rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds across Balochistan

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2026) The Regional Meteorological Center Quetta has forecast partly cloudy weather with rain, wind, and thunderstorms including a few heavy falls at isolated places across several districts of Balochistan over the next 48–72 hours.

Scattered rainfall is expected in Zhob, Sherani, Barkhan, Musakhel, Duki, Loralai, Quetta, Ziarat, Harnai, Killa Saifullah, Kohlu, Dera Bugti, Sibi, Khuzdar, Surab, Kalat, Mastung, Awaran, Kech, Panjgur, Hub, Lasbella, Naseerabad division, Jhal Magsi, and Usta Muhammad.

Occasionally strong gusty winds are likely in most parts of the province.

Meanwhile, mainly hot weather will prevail in Nokkundi, Washuk, Dalbandin, Kharan, Panjgur, Noshki, Sibi, Naseerabad, Jhal Magsi, and Usta Muhammad.

The maximum temperature recorded was 43.5°C in Dalbandin, while the minimum was 32.0°C in Gwadar.

Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious of strong winds and localized heavy rainfall, which may affect travel and daily activities.
