Quetta Police arrest three snatchers, recover weapons and stolen vehicles

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Quetta Police carried out a major operation against criminal elements, arresting three dangerous snatchers after an exchange of fire.

The operation was conducted under the special instructions of DIG Quetta Imran Shaukat and SSP Operations Quetta Asif Khan, led by Inspector Ejaz Ahmed, SHO of Abdul Khaliq Shaheed Police Station. During the encounter, the suspects were injured and taken into custody.

Police recovered weapons and a snatched motorcycle from the arrested suspects. In a separate action, a stolen car and XR motorcycle were also recovered.

According to police, the arrested suspects were involved in multiple criminal incidents and had previously been charge-sheeted in several cases.

Quetta Police reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining peace and order in the city, vowing to continue robust operations against criminal elements until they are eliminated.
