QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Mar, 2026) A grand and dignified rally was organized in Quetta by the district administration, in collaboration with the Lines Department, to commemorate Pakistan Day.

The rally commenced from the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Complex and witnessed enthusiastic participation from officials of various government departments, security personnel, students, teachers, and a large number of citizens.

Participants carried national flags and chanted slogans expressing their love and commitment to the country.

The procession passed through key roads of the city before concluding at its designated endpoint. Citizens along the route warmly welcomed the rally, demonstrating a strong sense of national spirit and unity. Authorities ensured comprehensive security arrangements to maintain peace and order.

District officials highlighted the importance of Pakistan Day, recalling that on March 23, 1940, the landmark Lahore Resolution was presented, laying the foundation for an independent homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent. They emphasized that the day serves as a reminder of the principles of unity, faith, and discipline.

Municipal Committee officials contributed to the celebrations by displaying banners across the city and decorating public spaces, aiming to promote patriotism and national awareness among residents.

The district administration reaffirmed its commitment to public service and pledged to continue celebrating national occasions with enthusiasm while working for the welfare and development of the people.
