Radio Pakistan organizes all Pakistan Mushaira to commemorate Marka-e-Haq

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) To mark the first year commemoration of Pakistan’s landmark victory in Marka-e-Haq and pay glowing tribute to martyrs and Ghazis of Pakistan's Armed Forces, Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation organized All Pakistan Mushaira at New Broadcasting House Karachi on Thursday.

The Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Kheeal Das Kohistani, Spokesperson of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for Sindh Raja Khaleeq uz Zaman Ansari and Managing Director PBC Seead Ahmed Shaikh highlighted the glorious triumph of Pakistan against vehement aggression of India while prominent poets from all the provinces and Azad Kashmir eulogized in their poetry the courage, professional competence and bravery of Pakistan Armed Forces who thwarted the nefarious designs of the enemy with their well-articulated and befitting response.

The All Pakistan Mushaira, titled as “Marka-e-Haq Men Jab Utra Sukhan”, will be broadcast by Radio Pakistan on May 10, 2026.

The state minister, Kheeal Das Kohistani, addressing at the occasion said that the entire nation was commemorating the memorable day of Marka-e-Haq and landmark victory of the nation with zeal and fervor.

The enemy plotted the Pahalgam false flag operation and tried to malign Pakistan and Muslims by falsely associating them with the fabricated act of terrorism, Kohistani said, adding that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif just turned the table and achieved significant diplomatic gains by extending the offer of impartial investigation of Pahalgam incident.

He said that Pakistan Armed Forces with unmatched professionalism and valor responded to the aggressive moves of the enemy and not only targeted their state of the art fighter planes but also destroyed their modern air defense system.

Kheeal Das strongly censured the Indian Prime Minister Modi’s aggressive and oppressive policies and said that all the minority groups in India were suffering state sponsored persecution and tyranny in India. There was no place of terrorism and violence in Sanatan Dharam (commonly called Hinduism) and it emphasizes the respect of other beliefs, he said, adding “Modi is ‘Rawan’ of the present era who is playing havoc with the minority communities in India and endangering the peace and stability in the region.

On the other hand, minorities in Pakistan enjoy equal rights and dignified treatment, he added.

During the Marka-e-Haq Pakistan did not hit any civilian target or temple which shows Pakistan respects the sanctity of lives of innocent citizens and regards worship places of other religions, he emphasized.

He highlighted that Pakistan has once again proved that we are a peace loving nation and are always ready to play an effective role for peace and stability in the region and the entire world. He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, deputy PM Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir are once again playing a laudable role to ease the crisis situation in the middle East and for brokering a peace deal among the conflicting countries. The sincere peace endeavor of Pakistan is being recognized across the globe and even the President of the most powerful nation of the world is acknowledging their role, he stated.

Raja Khaleeq uz Zaman Ansari, speaking at the occasion, said that Marka-e-Haq is a shining chapter of Pakistan’s history when our gallant armed forces successfully defended the geographical frontiers of the country with a befitting response to enemy’s aggression.

Our armed forces made it clear for another time that no one will be allowed to cast an evil eye on Pakistan and responded accordingly, he said adding that the entire nation is united and supports our brave armed forces in their efforts for protection of sovereignty, solidarity and stability of Pakistan.

DG PBC Saeed Ahmed Shaikh, at the occasion welcomed the guests and highlighted that Radio Pakistan, under the auspices of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting arranged the Mushaira to pay homage to our brave heroes who defended the nation.

In the Mushaira, Professor Sahar Ansari, Anwar Shaoor, Fatima Hassan, Iftakhar Arif, Nazeer Qaisar, Farhat Abbas Shah, Rehhana Roohi, Javed Saba, and other poets presented their poetry and received warm accolade from the audience.
