Raiwind Tablighi Ijtima: Tight security arrangements on third day, Dolphin Squad mobilised

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Apr, 2026) A special plan is being implemented to ensure foolproof security arrangements on the third day of the annual Tablighi Ijtima Raiwind.

On the instructions of the DIG Operations, special teams of Dolphin Squad and PRU have been deployed, who are continuously performing duties under shift-wise. According to a Dolphin spokesperson, all supervisory officers are closely monitoring their teams.

Officials say that Dolphin and PRU teams are performing security duties not only at the venue of the Ijtima but also in the surrounding areas.

For this purpose, 465 Dolphin Squad personnel have been deployed at different locations.

According to SP Dolphin Lt. (retd) Azhar Javed, security agencies are in constant touch with Rescue 1122, Fire Brigade, Police Helpline 15 and other relevant agencies to deal with any emergency situation in a timely manner.

He appealed to the participants to cooperate with the police personnel deployed at the checking points and play their role in ensuring security. It has been further directed that the personnel on duty should keep a close watch on suspicious vehicles and persons.
