QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Mar, 2026) A grand rally was organized to mark Pakistan Day (March 23) by the District Administration Quetta in collaboration with the Lines Department from the Deputy Commissioner Complex.

A large number of officers, officials, students, teachers and citizens of various government departments participated in the rally. The participants held national flags and raised slogans to express their love for the beloved homeland.

The rally started from the DC Complex and ended passing through various important highways of the city. On the way, the citizens welcomed the rally and showed national enthusiasm. Effective security arrangements were also made so that the event could be completed peacefully.

On this occasion, the officers of the district administration, highlighting the importance of Pakistan Day, said that the Pakistan Resolution was presented on March 23, 1940, which formed the basis for the establishment of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent.

They said that this day teaches us to adhere to the principles of unity, faith and discipline. On this occasion, the officers of the Municipal Committee also displayed banners regarding Pakistan Day across the city and beautifully decorated various places to promote national consciousness and patriotism among the citizens.

The district administration reiterated its resolve that it would continue its services for public welfare and maintain the tradition of celebrating national days with great fervour.
