SUPARCO reports the new moon formed on February 17, 2026, at 5:01 PM Pakistan time. At sunset today, February 18, the moon reaches about 25 hours and 48 minutes old. This age offers a strong chance for naked-eye visibility.

People are eager to observe Ramadan 2026 moon sighting in Pakistan. Assuming that this is confirmed, then Ramadan in Pakistan will begin tomorrow on 19 February, 2026 and the first fast will be on that day. This is in line with local sighting traditions, unlike Saudi Arabia and Gulf countries, where Ramadan started on February 18.
Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad will make the concluding announcement upon reviewing reliable eyewitness reports. Radio Pakistan or PTV would be the official sources where one can get the update about the moon sighting in Pakistan 2026.
Ramadan Mubarak to everyone preparing for the holy month.
