Rana Sanaullah meets Belgium Ambassador

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) Federal Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC), Rana Sanaullah met with Charles Delogne, Ambassador of Belgium to Pakistan, on Wednesday.

The meeting focused on Pakistan-Belgium bilateral relations and cooperation in the field of sports, said a statement issued here.

Both sides agreed to further strengthen people-to-people ties and bilateral relations through sports. Sanaullah said the government is committed to promoting sports and increasing women’s participation in athletic activities.

He said that the first National Women’s Hockey Championship will be held in Islamabad from July 7 to 13.

He added that the championship will provide talented players from across the country with an excellent platform to showcase their skills. The minister said Pakistan and Belgium will further promote sports exchanges and cooperation.

The ambassador said Belgium’s hockey team will visit Pakistan to provide training to national hockey players. Sanaullah also invited former and senior Belgium hockey players to visit Pakistan and contribute to the promotion of sports.
