Rangers arrest two street crime suspects

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) Pakistan Rangers Sindh arrested two suspects belonging to the “Lalo Group” during an intelligence-based operation in Sukhan area of the city.

The arrested suspects were identified as Hameedullah alias Manu and Fareedullah, who were allegedly involved in multiple robbery and street crime incidents, according to a spokesperson for Rangers on Wednesday.

A magazine along with 15 rounds of 30-bore ammunition, a pouch and two mobile phones were recovered from their possession.

The arrested suspects, along with their accomplices, were involved in several incidents of robbery and mobile phone snatching in different parts of the city. Hameedullah was also reportedly involved in diesel smuggling.

The arrested suspects have been handed over to police for further legal proceedings.
