Rashid Mehmood Soomro terms “Maarka-e-Haq” a historic victory for Pakistan

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) Secretary General of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) Sindh and central leader Maulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro has termed the “Maarka-e-Haq” a great victory in Pakistan’s history, stating that it not only strengthened national defence but also boosted the morale of the entire nation.

In a statement, he said that the whole nation, the ruling party, Pakistan Armed Forces, Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force deserved congratulations for their exemplary role in safeguarding the country’s security and borders.

In a statement, he said that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman had already make it clear that if a war had to be fought to defend Pakistan and its borders, JUI-F workers would stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces and would not hesitate to make any sacrifice.

Soomro emphasized that no compromise could be made on Pakistan’s sovereignty, integrity and defence, adding that a clear message had been conveyed to hostile forces that the country possesses the full capability to defend its territory and respond effectively to any aggression.

He further warned that no one would be allowed to cast an evil eye on Pakistan, and any such attempt in the future would be met with an even stronger and more forceful response.
