Rawalpindi police hold farewell ceremony for retiring inspector

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) Rawalpindi Police on Tuesday organized a farewell ceremony at Police Lines Headquarters in honour of retiring Inspector Asghar Ali in recognition of his services to the department.

The ceremony was held on the directions of City Police Officer Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani and attended by senior officers including SSP Investigation Nasir Ali Khan and SSP Operations Malik Tariq Mehboob.

Officers paid tribute to the retiring inspector for his dedication and professional contributions during his service.

SSP Investigation said Asghar Ali had been a valuable asset to Rawalpindi Police and his services would always be remembered.

SSP Operations congratulated him on the successful completion of his career.

At the end of the ceremony, senior officers presented bouquets to the retiring inspector as a gesture of appreciation.
