Police have intensified their crackdown against criminal elements, following arrest of five gangs and arrested seven accused involved in robbery and motorcycle theft

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) Police have intensified their crackdown against criminal elements, following arrest of five gangs and arrested seven accused involved in robbery and motorcycle theft.

Police also recovered five stolen motorcycles, eight snatched mobile phones worth thousands of rupees, cash amounting to Rs36,200, and illegal weapons.

According to police spokesperson, Bani Police have arrested a two-member gang involved in motorcycle and other theft cases, recovering two stolen bikes, Rs 4,000 in cash, and weapons.

Similarly, New Town Police apprehended a suspect and recovered two stolen motorcycles while City Police have arrested an individual involved in street crime and recovered eight snatched mobile phones.

Saddar Bairooni Police rounded up a two-member robbery gang and recovered Rs32,200 along with weapons. Likewise, Ganjmandi Police have arrested a suspect and recovered a stolen motorcycle.

SP Rawal Saad Arshad stated that all accused will be challaned in court with solid evidence, adding that those targeting citizens’ lives and property will not escape the law.
