Rawalpindi police seize drugs, liquor and illegal weapons in separate operations, 10 held

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2026) Police have conducted successful operations following the arrest of 10 outlaws and recovered narcotics, liquor and illegal weapons from their possession here on Saturday.

According to police spokesperson, Ganjmandi Police arrested drug supplier and recovered 2 kilograms of drugs from his possession.

In separate operations, Naseerabad Police detained two liquor supplier and seized 20 litres of liquor while Chaklala Police arrested another supplier and confiscated 5 litres of liquor.

In another crackdown, Rawalpindi Police have also arrested six illegal arm holders and recovered weapons along with ammunition during operations carried out in the jurisdictions of Pirwadhai, Cantt, Airport, Chaklala, Taxila and Rawat police stations.

Divisional SPs stated that strict action was being taken against those involved in possessing illegal weapons adding that violators of the law would not escape legal accountability.

Police reaffirmed their commitment to maintain law and order through continued operations against drug trafficking, illegal liquor trade and unlawful possession of weapons.
