RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) The Rawalpindi Cantonment board (RCB) continued its Eid-ul-Adha cleanliness operation without interruption on the second day, removing over 2,500 tonnes of animal wastes from transfer stations to dumping points for disposal.
According to the RCB Spokesman, a total of 231 complaints received at the control room have been resolved so far, while monitoring of the operation was being carried out round the clock.
Despite intense heat, sanitation staff remained active in the field to ensure cleanliness across cantonment areas.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Amir Rasheed, and Deputy CEO, Nasir Kamal, visited various localities during the day and reviewed operational arrangements.
Amir Rasheed said thay the cleanliness operation would continue till the end of the third day of Eid, adding that the control room was ensuring effective supervision of all activities.
