?Redressal of Public Grievances stands atop priorities of incumbent regime: PM Rathore

MIRPUR (AJK) , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point news - 5th Apr, 2026) Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (PM AJK) Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has reaffirmed his government's resolve to address public issues, complete development projects and improve governance in the region.

Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Prime Minister Rathore continued that his party t always fought for people’s rights. "People's Party has always played a historic role in serving the people and strengthening democracy", he remarked.

"It is heartening to note that people from all segments of society are expressing confidence in the AJK government's performance and its people-friendly policies", he added.

The Prime Minister said that the PPP strictly follows the ideology of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, and that its basic objective was to empower the people and promote development and prosperity in the State, he added.

The people of Haveli, he said, have always supported democratic forces.

He expressed the hope that hua party would become stronger with the joining of new partners.He said that the government was utilizing all possible resources for the welfare of the people and the development of the region.

The PM reiterated the resolve that the journey of development, prosperity and public service in AJK would be further accelerated and all energies would be dedicated to meet the expectations of the people.

On the occasion, Rathore paid rich tributes to the PPP’s founding leader late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto acknowledging his unparalleled services and sacrifices for the nation

Referring to the construction of Danish school, Haveli University, and 56 kilometers of paved roads, grid stations, hydroelectric power, and establishment of town committees, he said that record development works were being carried out in the area.
