LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) The Regional Director of Larkana for the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, Ali Akbar Jagirani, stated that the issues of serving and retired government employees should be resolved without delay.
Salaries, pensions, GP Fund, and other dues should be paid after fulfilling legal requirements, and cases facing obstacles should be referred to the Accountant General Sindh (AG Sindh).
He expressed these views while addressing an open forum (Khuli Kachehri) held on Thursday at the District Accounts Office Larkano to resolve employees’ issues.
He said that employees whose dues—especially GP Fund and pensions—are pending should be paid on time so they do not face any difficulties.
He further directed that a detailed report be submitted regarding employees who have received payments, as well as those who have not yet been paid.
On this occasion, District Accounts Officer Larkana, Zamir Hussain Khokhar, said that all employees’ issues are being addressed without delay. However, it is necessary that employees submit complete required documents and fulfill legal formalities.
During the open forum, Additional District Accounts Officer Larkana, Abdul Fattah Soomro, instructed the staff to immediately resolve cases, particularly those related to GP Fund and other pending dues.
Approximately 12 applications were received during the open forum, which were addressed promptly. Applicants included Nadeem Ahmed Issani, Najamuddin, Hakim Ali Brohi, Ms. Safia Bano, Deedar Ali Channa, and others, and orders were issued on their requests.
Accountant Hamid Ali Abro, Irfan Ali Umrani, Auditor Naeem Ahmed Solangi, and other relevant officials were also present at the open forum.
