Registration of cleft lip patients underway for free treatment

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2026) The registration of patients suffering from cleft lip and cleft palate is underway for providing them free medical treatment and surgical services.

According to Islamabad Cleft Lip and Palate Association (ICLAPA), for this purpose, a free medical camp will be arranged here within the next couple of months for the treatment and surgery of the registered patients.

“The patients are being treated by a team of physicians and surgeons at twin-city hospitals. We formally register the patients before providing them treatment and surgery,” it was added.

The deserving patients have been asked to get themselves registered with the Association at the earliest.

The Association has been working to provide free medical facilities to poor families since 2004 with the support of philanthropists.

The ICLAPA is a group of volunteers, which relies on donors to bring hope and happiness into the lives of people for whom it is financially difficult to provide treatment to their children.

She hoped that well-to-do people would come forward to support the Association in providing free services to this neglected section of society.
